An online store (e-commerce) is a website built to sell products directly — with a catalog, cart, checkout, and payments like GCash, Maya, and cards. Choose it when you sell physical or digital products and want customers to buy online, not just inquire.
How to decide:
- Do you mainly want people to contact or visit you? A business website fits.
- Do you want customers to buy products online and pay you directly? You need an online store.
- Do you have just one offer or campaign to push right now? Start with a landing page.
These are not mutually exclusive. Many businesses begin with a landing page or simple site and grow into a full website or store as they expand. The key is matching the build — and the budget — to what you actually need today, with room to grow.
